Course Description
The Diploma of Leisure and Health (CHC54315) will allow candidates to gain knowledge and skills in the core areas of Leisure & Health. This will allow you to make comprehensive assessments of a client’s profile and utilise this information to contribute to leisure & health programs and evaluate their success.
Entry Requirements
Domestic Students
There is no qualification or educational prerequisites to gain entry into the Diploma of Leisure and Health
- All potential students must attend a compulsory information
- Skills Training Australia will conduct a review of your current competencies, including language, literacy and numeracy skills, in order to ensure this is the most appropriate qualification to achieve your intended outcomes
- Students wishing to apply for a Commonwealth VET Student Loan must be assessed for academic suitability to undertake a high level VET qualification. This academic assessment is in addition to any entry requirements that may be required for the specific course a student wishes to undertake. VET student loans will not be approved for students who do not meet eligibility requirements
A VET student loan gives rise to a HELP debt that continues to be a debt due to the Commonwealth until it is repaid
Structure
- Delivered as a face to face
- On campus, face to face training.

The Diploma of Leisure and Health consists of 22 units, of these 22 units, 15 are core and 7 are electives.

Fees
Domestic Students
- Full Fee = $8,000.
- Skills First Funded Fee = $1,800.

Placement
- 240 hours placement
- Delivered in 2, 4 week blocks, Monday - Friday.
- All placements for Leisure and Health must be sourced by the student.
