CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) - International Students
Course Description
The Skills Training Australia's CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) qualification is considered the minimum industry standard for working within residential aged care facilities, or for providing care within someone’s home.
Entry Requirements
International applicants must be 18 years or older and have:
- Year 11 or equivalent certificate of senior secondary education
- IELTS score of 5.5. If the level of English is not sufficient, a suitable course can be organised
Structure
- Face to face classes (CBD campus)
- 3 days a week over 27 college weeks
- 40 placement hours per week over 3 college weeks

Fees
- Full Tuition Fee: $7,500
- Administration (Non-refundable): $300
- Confirmation of Enrolment (Non-refundable): $20 for a course no longer than 12 months
- Textbooks: Approximately $125
- Uniform: $26.50 each (Two uniforms are required)
Placement
- Students must undertake their practical placement off campus over 40 hours per week over 3 college weeks in the last term.
- Skills Training Australia has an extensive list of industry partners and will organise the practical placements for all students within Metropolitan Melbourne. A current and satisfactory Police Record Check is mandatory and a copy must be provided to Skills Training Australia prior to commencing placement. If students do not have a current Police Check, we will assist students to apply for this during the first term of the course. It is also mandatory to have an annual Influenza vaccination prior to placement in an Aged Care setting. Students will be required to provide evidence of this.
