CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support
Course Description
The Skills Training Australia Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015) qualification is considered the minimum industry standard for working within residential aged care facilities, or for providing care within someone’s home. The qualification was previously referred to as a PCA certificate, aged care qualification or Certificate III in Home and community care (HACC).
Entry Requirements
There is no qualification or educational prerequisites to gain entry into the Certificate III in Individual Support.
Domestic Students
- All potential students must attend a compulsory information session
- Skills Training Australia will conduct a review of your current competencies, including language, literacy and numeracy skills, in order to ensure this is the most appropriate qualification to achieve your intended outcomes
Structure
- Face to face on campus training.
- 3 days a week for 6 months

Fees
Domestic Students
- Full Fee = $6,000.
Placement
- There is 160 hours placement for the Certificate III in Individual Support for those who do not currently work in the industry.
- All placements for this qualification must be sources by the student, Skills Training Australia can assist you if you cannot find a suitable placement facility.
